We respect your right to control your data. If you wish to permanently delete your Help QR account and all associated data, please follow the steps below. Requests are processed within 7 business days.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete Directly from the App (Fastest)
Open Help QR
Launch the Help QR app on your device.
Go to Settings
Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.
Tap "Delete My Account"
Scroll down to find the delete option.
Confirm
Confirm your request — your account and all data will be permanently deleted.
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
Send an email to helpqr.org@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.
Option 3: Submit via Contact Form
Fill out our Contact Form and select "Delete Account" as the subject. Include your registered email address.
What Gets Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information and emergency contacts
- Your generated QR code and associated lock screen data
- Any medical information you provided (blood group, allergies, conditions)
- Account credentials and authentication data
What We Retain
We may retain minimal anonymized data as required by law (e.g., transaction records for donations) for a period of up to 90 days before permanent deletion. This data cannot be linked to you personally.
Important: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. After deletion, your QR code will no longer work. You can re-download and re-register at any time as a new user. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account — please follow the steps above.
